This week, it was cold and I didn’t want to get out of my jammies. So I didn’t.

I drone on about the new Interweave Knits (Winter 2015) and my dislike for bobbles, but most things would be okay without them, and also that the one pattern I really liked, well, it’s knit end-to-end and kitchnered shut. So, no thanks.
Hi Amanda, I haven’t listened to the cast yet but read the notes above — and I have a suggestion. I don’t like bobbles either and don’t put them on anything. But the Kitchner business is easily worked around. I’m guessing you were referring to a cowl since it was knit end to end. I’m also working on a cowl (That Nice Stitch by Susan Ashcroft) that calls for grafting at the end (and I hate Kitchner). I began with a provisional cast-on and will simply do a 3-needle bind-off when I reach the requested length.
I was referring to a scarf knit flat then kitchnered to make it an infinity cowl. My problem wasn’t with the kitchnering – my problem is knitting what is essentially a scarf! I loose interest very quickly working long, skinny, flat things like that. It being in aran weight might could offset the boredom – but I’m not sure I want to risk it!!
Hint as to get the gunk from the sticker off your glass: use lighter fluid and a razor. It comes right off without any problems. I keep a can in my house JUST for sticker removal.
